62-year-old Barbara Broccoli, an American producer known for her work on a series of films about James Bond, spoke about the approximate date of filming the next part of the “Bond”. Deadline reports.
The filmmaker said that the film crew will be able to start creating the project no earlier than in two years. Broccoli said that this decision is due to the intention of the filmmakers to completely change the image of 007 and introduce a new hero to the audience.
“Now we are at the stage of discussion. The script hasn’t been written yet and we can’t write it until we figure out how to approach the next movie because we want to show a reinvention of Bond in it. We are reinventing his image, and this takes time. I would say that there are at least two years left before filming, ”said the Bond producer.
Broccoli added that the creators of the project have not yet approved the actor who will replace Daniel Craig, who played in the last five parts of the franchise. In January of this year, the producers discussed the candidacy of Idris Elba for the role of the new agent 007.
Previously, the producer of “Pirates of the Caribbean” called Margot Robbie a possible replacement for Depp in the new part of the franchise.
